With numerous professional journal articles, books, and publications to his name, Dr. Morris also leads an ophthalmic consulting service, Morris Education & Consulting Associates, and co-founded 4ECP’s, a company dedicated to advancing eye care practices. He currently serves as the Chief Optometric Editor for Optometric Management and was recognized as one of the 50 most influential people in the eye care industry in 2015.
Dr. Morris earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University in 1996. After completing an externship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami and a residency in ocular disease and refractive surgery at Triad Eye Medical Center in Tulsa, OK, he served as the cornea and refractive clinical director at Discover Vision Centers in Kansas City. In 2002, he moved to Colorado, initially working in a refractive surgery practice in Denver before acquiring his current optometric practice in Conifer in 2004.
